Parking Guidelines

Parking Assignment Details

Pillar+ Club contributions of $1,000 and above are eligible for preferred parking spaces. Pledges for preferred parking spaces are due by November 1, 2025.

While you can make a request for a parking spot placement, these requests are not guaranteed. Consideration for placement is not cumulative and is determined by the pledge amount made during the campaign, as well as the order of giving. Higher pledges receive priority, and within each pledge level, earlier contributions are given precedence.

  • Employees are limited to one reserved parking spot – if you earn more than one, they will be combined (i.e. Safety Director, Service Anniversaries, United Way).
  • Once a spot is assigned, it can only be moved due to position changes.
  • Only designated maintenance personnel are permitted to move United Way parking signs once requested through the Public Affairs Department.
  • Public Affairs should be notified of damaged and/or faded signs.
  • New parking assignments will be communicated in December.
  • Any parking issues must be communicated to Community Relations Advisor, Kelsey Talbot, by January 23, 2026.

Entering Parking Selection

You will receive an automated email upon completion of your Pillar+ Club Contribution. If you do not receive this email, be sure your pledge was fully completed.

It’s important that you identify the proper parking lot based on maps presented during the selection: CITGO Business & Engineering Center, Lab, Technical Services, Engineering, Refinery Clockhouse and Crude Coking Trailers.

  • Select the parking lot.
  • Select two preferred parking options by entering the spot numbers from the map of your parking lot.
  • Comments section: provide as much detail as possible about your preferred location in the event your two selections are not available (i.e. low vehicle, large vehicle – end space, direction of parking spot, etc.). The more details you provide, the better we can determine a location based on availability.
  • In plant parking: include details about your preferred location within the comments section.

Sign Details

Name plates are printed with donor name as listed in SAP. If a nickname is preferred, please indicate this in the notes during the selection.

How do I pledge online?

How much of my pledge stays within Southwest Louisiana?

100% of your pledged dollars will go directly to making the greatest community impact.

When will I get my rewards?

Beginning on September 25 & 26.

If I elect for my contribution to be paid for by payroll deduction, how many checks do they come out of each year?

Your pledge is divided equally between 24 checks per year.

Can my auction purchase be paid for by payroll deduction?

Yes. Your auction is divided equally between 24 checks per year.

Can I donate the value of my rewards back to United Way?

Yes. This should be done at the time of your
pledge.

If I donate the value of the reward items back to United Way, am I eligible for the Pillar+ Club parking spot and all drawings?

Yes. All category drawings, and the Pillar+ Club parking spot are separate from the donation of the value of rewards.

When can I redeem my United Way reward day off?
  • United Way reward day is redeemable between January 1 β€” December 15, 2026.
  • All requests are subject to Supervisor approval.
  • All requests must be made and approved by Wednesday the week prior to redemption.
  • Reward day will not be paid out if unused.
